Training Philosophy:

1) Fun! Training is fun! If you aren't up for having some fun with your canine teammate while you train, this probably isn't the right training program for you - sorry.

2) Motivation. We don't ask the dogs to do anything they don't want to do. We make exercises and training fun, so it's the dog's choice to "play the game".

3) Each team learns at a different rate. We understand this and will work with each team individually to ensure that the training pace fits the team learning and confidence level.

4) Agility training is not about managing aggressive dog behavior. Classes we offer are specifically for teaching and learning agility. We don't accept aggressive or dangerous dogs!

5) Our Training Philosophy is "Quiet". You've seen these people with their dogs. Someone is training their dog, asking for a behavior and they repeat the command about a zillion times before the dog goes to sleep OR finally provides a "sit". Another favorite is the "screamer". Someone asking their dog for a behavior and they feel it's more effective if they issue the command at a decibel level that's only rivaled by a Van Halen concert. Our training philosophy is to ask the dog one time for a behavior and ask in a reasonable tone of voice. We can provide guidance in training to this level of compliance.
